An Outlet for the Community! Good Life Philanthropic Youth Foundation, Inc.

968813_10153337802527621_1725788094165772204_nWinter break was no disappointment for members of the Good Life Youth Foundation!  This month’s workshop was an introduction to investment and saving for retirement.  Saving for the future is one of the most important steps one can take when staying financially fit and prepared.  It is important to stayed prepared for the future! Helping the organization with the conversation was Mr. Darrick Hokanson from Prudential here in Syracuse and thanks go out to him and his loved ones this holiday season as well as to all of our members and their families!

Encouraging Entrepreneurship

 

 

It takes courage to start something by yourself!

 

Screen-Shot-2015-11-25-at-8.34.35-AMGood Life Youth Foundation has organized workshops throughout the past year to help members of the organization become more comfortable with the idea of entrepreneurship.  Good Life thanks Mr. Chinedu Okigbo of Ariella Signs, Inc. and Mr. Saquan Lewis of Team Les Go for coming to the South Side Innovation Center to share their experiences of being an entrepreneur.  Empowering youth become the individuals they have the potential to be is the mission at Good Life.  Thanks also go out to Ashley McBride who wrote an article about the event in November in My South Side Stand and you can read it through the link below!
